Mr. Raiden from the new and upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance!

I know he was in MGS! >:3

Pretty much, I've been following this game since I found out Platinum Games are developing it. They developed Bayonetta one of my favourite Action games, and Vanquish, my favourite third person shooter for it's gameplay! :meow:

Now I know there's a lot of hate for the new game. Seeing as it is based in the Metal Gear world and how it doesn't follow it's past, stealth orientated games.

However, I am sick of people complaining blatantly saying "this is gonna suck". They haven't even tried it! Gameplay, story? I am aware that MGS is quite an excellent story, but we has no details of this yet!

I haven't played Metal Gear, none of them. Because they weren't to my taste. But this looks insanely amazing, and because it is more over the top action orientated, I will probably enjoy it. It's obviously aimed towards people who haven't played any MGS's before! D:

I know it's bad for the original fanbase. But as more gets revealed, it seems that they become more inclined to like it. Such as the new DMC, which looks incredible might I add. Everyone hated the new Dante at first, but now they've seen gameplay, a few of them are starting to lean in favour.

Well, here's to what I /think/hope will be an epic game! Over the top action, a unique take on the series, lots of gore and giant robots! :meow: All are good >:3

His hair is brown, but in certain light, it shows the silver glow of experience.
The graphics-... LOOK REAL!
And there's a mysterious boy involved...
Plus it's going to be a FREE ROAM game!!!!!!
Yeah, like Grand Theft Auto.
Speaking of Auto, Snake... can.... DRIVE!

All that aside, Kojima-sama's still got 5 other possible games under wraps.

He really is insanely creative ^w^ The detail he puts in is just godlike.

That sounds amazing ^w^

I only really looked into Metal Gear because of Revengeance, seeing as Platinum made it and they're one of my favourite studios ^w^

Maybe, someday, try Metal Gear Solid 2.
There's some cool swordplay near the end.
That's also Raiden's first game.

MGS 3 is deadset amazing. Probably one of the best games I'v ever played, and it's a PS2 game. Haha, it's so good

People keep saying it'll suck since it doesn't include Snake, but I absolutely love Raiden. I heard he'll be similar to a comic relief character, but i don't care if he's made that way. That'll make him all the more awesome. And people hate on the new Dante, since he doesn't have his white hair. I actually love this concept, it makes him feel more relateable to the player.

I think I haven't seen enough of Snake, only in this hilarious cartoon: [link] which I'm pretty sure isn't accurate. D:

I adore his new concept too. He looks amazing and a lot more believable and relatable :meow:

Well I believe Snake is at his best in MGS 3: Snake Eater.
And from the remakes, other people agree too.

from what I heard, this is the Dante before he became the Dante everyone knows.
